Hi, ya I'm Flowers1 , Dj & also presenter with the no1, live internet radio station www.rhythm365.com. Now in our 7th year as no'1 Liv'e internet radio Rhythm 365 (reggae, gospel, soul, R&B, revival E.C.T.). As far back as I can remember, being second from last in a line of seven sisters, I was quite the mischievous little runt (nuff said) My Pop's had such a passion for music, once a month he would get a package from his good frin Derek Harriot Who had a record shop in down town Kingston Jamaica. In the 70's My Pop's built his own sound system form scratch, and powered by KT88 valve’s, and speaker box's with flashing lights, which he had to worm up at least at least half hour be before playing Its base was so powerful it would shake ya hart Party's at home was the bomb, He would also play out at weekends too.. I always new this was what I wanted to do even back then. I would bug the poor man to death, what's this do, what's that for, what happens if I push this button.. At the ripe age of sixteen, still a mischievous as ever got myself a Saturday job,& saved as hard a I could, and took myself to Notting Hill. (My Mother would have tanned mi hide if she knew) Rest her soul The feeling of excitement walking into Dub Vendor Record Shop, the smell of over powering wax, hunting in & outta the sea of records one by one till you spot a it, That Tuneeeeeee, Buying my first group of records, & rushing home again to Pop's & See (IF) Pop’s would play them on his system, was like passing an exam into the world of the MUSIC...... 2004 I was given an opportunity by Tony Williams of BBC Radio London Rockers FM Fame, to express my skills, knowledge & love of music Worldwide on www.rhythm365.com A live internet radio station from south London My show's still go live every Sunday nights 8pm-10am GMT This site helps me to showcase the artist's that have given there time for me to interview them and push there tracks my shows. I still pinch myself from time to time making my dream a reality & do a good job in my father’s footsteps and keeps the music FLOWING
